I just saw the news. Today’s gust at Wellington was reported at 140km/h. This is more then double of that at Wellington Airport!!

Wellington has been well known to be the second strongest wind city. However, this was my first time feeling it at 32 knots (60km/h) or more. In fact, I nearly lost my balance walking back to the hotel earlier!! It is still howling and and screaming at my room balcony door.
